I read in a thread in this forum that ZOC tends to bug out on Windows 98 SE. I haven't installed XP yet and probably won't for another 6 months, and I'd like to know if the above is true before I spend the money to purchase ZOC. Thanks.

Well it seems to work fine for me. Just slow when it comes to large macros......say 100+ lines.
Take it for a test drive. The trial version is free.

I've tested numerous scripts with ZOC on a windows 98SE system and it ran just fine. Unlimited turns and long hour continuous tests didn't do as great but then thats the memory management of win98. If you play unlimited turns and hours on end continuous gaming, I suggest win2000 or XP. but that goes for any gaming client.
XP = have the hardware to support it & your clientware.
2000 = works wonders even for older systems.

The only issue I know of with zoc and win98 is display speed. The display is really slow on any win98 system I have seen running zoc, but not on systems running win2k or winxp
