Seein as how the old j-twat is no longer being developed, would it be to much to ask for one last change. Make the download the fully updated version and turn off its check for updates on startup crap.

Heh, I installed j-twat at work but it can't get through the firewall to get the updates. [:D]

There's actually a command line switch to turn off the check. Just add

-noCheck

at the very end of the command line (after TwLaunch)

The start menu shortcut, for instance, would look like:

"C:\Program Files\Jtwat\jre\bin\javaw.exe" -cp "C:\Program Files\JTWAT;C:\Program Files\JTWAT\jtwat.jar" TWLaunch -noCheck

(assuming you had the default install).

Hope that works.

Thanks,
badboy

J-twat is giving me the following error msg:

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: TWLaunch
at de.mud.jta.Main.main(Unknown Source)

Any suggestions?

You probably set it up differently or by hand than what the setup did for you, and your java class path is messed up. Send me the command line you're launching with. If you did install normally, and are launching by hand, please just use the menu items to start.
