Haven't seen anything posted here about the DRoP helper in development and didn't see any link on the DRoP site for contacting the parties involved in the DRoP team, so thought I would post a message here asking about it. Is it still in development? Still planning to release it? Thanks

Drop is not gonna come out ever. which IMO is a very good thing, all it is, is an undetectable duper.

hey its the supreme duper himself. i recall a post on twgs.org saying that Drop was made only so Cherokee could play from work.
diddy, i really dont have anything against you. ive talked with you before. you talk ****, you are arrogant, you just dont care. thats all fine and dandy. but i utterly despise doc who, and since you are corpies and working on drop together etc.. im sure some of my distaste comes out towards you. i apologize for that. BUT, my feelings on what Drop is and what it can do will remain. its the ultimate duper. i dont think that will do twars any good by being released. i have never seen nor used drop, but from what i have heard, my opinions are thus.

on a side note, i fail to see why you post at all. when you do, often you just sound like a doc who clone. (maybe he is using drop to post for you, who knows) if you are gonna be a ****, be an original ****. and when you guys come on here and claim to be so elite... yet dont back it up. thats bull****. do you see hellcat still sitting around posting "i am better than you" no, you dont. because he moved on in life. i suggest you do the same.

drop is an application that one can choose to use or not. i'll not argue the relative merit of having a proxy open to external connections or not. in my opinion, if one wishes to cheat, they will cheat. drop may make it easier to cheat, but it also makes it easier for some people to play the game legitimately (sp?). in addition, it provides features that are extremely handy to a TW player; many of today's players simply do not have the time nor skill to make or find good data mining scripts. reports are something that i think a lot of people want, and the last time i checked, they weren't available in great abundance to the public (of course, i've been out of the scene for a bit). if you don't like drop, i'll certainly not force you to use it. just like i won't force people to dupe or cheat by having an open proxy.

as far as me talking sh*t, being arrogant, not caring - yeh u might be right. i never claimed i wasn't any of these things did i?
as far as me claiming to be elite - i've not made any such claim since i stopped playing, therefore i have no need to back anything up. i don't see why a person should have to stop posting in the community simply because they are taking a break from the game. i don't recall publicly announcing i was retiring from the game. who are you to tell me to leave?

eh, i was just pissy at doc who. sorry for takin it out on you. BUT, if drop becomes public, people WILL use it to cheat. look at big game. it caused problems there. if it were possible to only distribute it to people who can be trusted, no problem, but making it widely available to all is just a bad idea IMO, cause it will be abused. if it were possible to have the good w/o the ability to do bad, it would be awesome im sure.

VNC is widely available, free, and will do even more than drop.
