Does any have any ttp scripts, or know where to find them, its proven very difficult to get them now that my only source kinda passed away. Is there a website or something that would have some ttp scripts. |

Amazing! I thought I was the ONLY player that wasn't using one of the common helpers to play. I connect from a NetBSD system with a vt100 terminal, so I can't use any of those programs. I use Tera Term with the SSH plug-in. In any case, the TTL scripts should be the same. I only have one that really works right now, a simple paired port trading. It can't even haggle for the experience points. Such a coincidence that you posted. I was just working on another script two days ago! Send me a PM with your e-mail address and I'll forward my script to you. I'm also going to make one for colo's, that is relatively simple. |

The inability to run ttp scripts on win2k (and maybe xp) made a lot of people choose different clients. |

Harley, I had been searching through the old posts, and saw that a lot of people had trouble with TTP on W2K and XP. I too was having trouble up until this very afternoon, and I think I found a workaround. After I run Tera Term, I open Windows Task Manager, then tab over to Processes. Find ttermpro.exe, and set the Priority from Normal to AboveNormal. After I started my script, I could just do stuff in my other windows and the script will be running in the background. For reference, I have Windows 2000 Professional SP3 I believe. YMMV. |

The problem I had had was when executing scripts, I would need to switch back and forth between the ttpmacro (running the script) and the program proper to keep it processing the script and sending commands. I'll have to play around with it some with the change you made. |

Harley, Before my change, I too, had to fiddle around with the macro status window and the TTP main window. After starting the script, I had to bring the macro window to the foreground, with the TTP window immediately behind it, and then minimize the macro window. That would get the script going. Then, I couldn't do anything else but watch, or it would freeze up again. Anyway, after setting ttermpro.exe to AboveNormal priority, I can literally start the script and it gets going right away. I can also immediately switch to a non-related window and let it run in the background. I also downloaded TWX 2.00, I might be able to give that a try from home. |

prestone is the king of ttp scripting - but i dont think he publishes anything as he always modifies them depending on the situation. |
