SupG's worked but I needed to have it converted for 2.04 to get it to work.

Prom, I don't see why you couldn't put together a beginners script pack.
Just make sure that there is a help file or some kind of text somewhere in the download about checking consistantly for script updates.
If your really committed, you can always take the accountability of updating the "beginners pack" as often as you see fit.

I will probably do that in the near future and include a text file as you suggested. Tell about the script and where to check for updates.
Right now issues in RL are preventing me from knowing when I will have time and may have to leave out-of-state w/o notice. Seems like we have had a rash of RL issues for several users of the most negative kind.

Lawnmowers, like most scripts, need to be used intelligently. In an early unlim they are indispensable. In a really early turns game, before mobiles and torps, they're also a must-have script. Ck's is as fast as all the others if you're not using dscan, it's all a macro burst.
Once tpads develop you have to be more careful, but you can still use a lawnmower in small bursts if you're not predictable. Once mobiles develop then a mower is pure suicide. It's trivially easy to detect a mow burst and to anticipate the next sector.

What I would like to see is a script pack from prom and dny to add to CK's, wildstar's and MD (Manifest Destiny)
The main script missing for a n00b is a lawnmower since CK's doesn't work with 204F. We tell them to always use one but there isn't a working script thats public

MD's lawnmow script works with the latest TWX.

Another question. Since the user is already connected to the internet when using these scripts. Would it be possible to put in some code at the beginning of the script to check the scripts download site for updates? I know when you run some programs they do it, but just wondered how hard that would be to do with a script?

Although that is a good idea, the problem is those that run scripts inside their own network. Now we have to open more ports, or set specific ports for the scripts to search and retrieve updates. You also have the issue if one script author uses one port and another uses a different one. I'm not trying to bash your thought, as it is a great idea. This is just a small hurdle in the adventures of the Net.

You would have to add specific socket code to twxproxy for this to happen. I've never seen a published way to open a website in a twxproxy script. What, in essence, you'd need is a socket abstraction layer that could take the request and process it w/ various options.

It used to not work, it might work in the latest ver... but I've heard people still have trouble with it.
It's not really hard to write a mower.
