So will database extensions return current sector stuff if youve visited it before? I.e. if i visit sector 1 leave to 10000 and search 1 in the database will it update for changes? And if so would a fig in that sector saying if it was 11 instead prevent accurate data?

Every time you visit it, or do a handful of things, relevant data is updated. For instance whenever you density scan a sector it's density scan info is updated in the DB.

You can't have a DB update magically, it's only updated when you scan the sector or get that data from some other means. If you CIM or do a CR report it will update port data for that sector. When you do a ZTM it updates the warps in and warps out data, which is, in essence, all a ztm is.

...would be nice if the Dbase updated when Figs/Limps/Armids were listed

Figs do, IIRC. Limps/armids, don't think so.

Since the DB is read only tho you'd be hard pressed to dynamically update it. I use sector parms for that.

A fig refresh updates the fig data in the database, as of 2.04Beta. No promise when limpet / armid scans will get captured. That routine is clunky at the moment, but if I rewrite it, I'll probably add support for limpets and armids.
