So I've read up as much as I can about megarob, but have a few unanswered questions still.
1) Can a megarob be performed in a GOLD MBBS game, or just a straight MBBS game? I understand it cant be done in CLASSIC mode at all.
It can be performed in any MBBS game, Gold or otherwise.

2) Let's say I randomly find a port in the middle of the galaxy with $5M credits on it. Can I do a megarob with the same 1 in 50 chance? Or is it a requirement that I first drain the equip and/or other products on it before attempting the megarob?
Its your lucky day. You do not have to drain anything.

3) Lets say I drain all products and now there is $5M on the port. I try to megarob but bust. So I assume that obvously that $5M is still there. Can my red corpie come in and do the mega-rob, in my place? Or only the person who actually drains the product?
Anyone can do it, you can even have a blue do your buydowns, and any red do the robs.

4) Lets say there is $5M on the port. But I feel like being a randomly nice guy and only rob $4.9M. Can I do that, or must I rob all the credits that are available in 1 shot (I ask this because of the fact that not all credits "show", and the need to calculate the 11% that is "hidden")
You do not have to rob all the credits. There are scripts available for TWX that will megarob for you... it will calculate the highest amount you can rob. It gets tricky, if it can be megarobbed twice, you can do that, but need to rob some other port between your two megarobs.

5) Does exp matter at ALL in a megarob? Whether I try to rob with 1,000 exp or 10,000 exp, if the amount I am robbing is between $3.3M to $6.6M, my chance is always 1 in 50 of busting?
Your chance is always 1 in 50 of busting.

6) I understand this would take more turns, but lets say I have a fully upgraded SSS port. And I want to drain ALL 3 products 100% off. Do I still need to do the reverse haggle?
I am not sure, but it would not be turn efficient, unless you desperately need ore on one of your planets. You want to use your turns buying down the most expensive products, so you can sell the most expensive products. Buying down something like ore, which is real cheap, well your credit per turn ratio would really suffer.
