Hi all,

I'm using ZOC/TWX and i'm having trouble getting some of the Reverend's  (Rev-Helper) scripts to work. It errors with "missing config variables".


< script error (_clear_bust.zrx b.80) : missing config variable(s): bust_clear ns >

< script error (_rt.zrx b.1056) : missing config variable(s): bust_clear rf >

< script error (_sdt_new.zrx b.147) : missing config variable(s): sd sf bust_clear trade_percent>

 
Should i enter these variables manually somewhere?? I Haven't found anywhere to place them yet.

Anyone point me in the right direction??

did you run the _setup.zrx script?
did you use the _login.zrx script?

you are missing variables in your *_data.ini config file. all of the scripts in revhelper read that file for information about the game you are playing. please follow the instructions that come with revhelper about setting it up.

The login script gives me the error:

After downloading, i extracted to Zoc\scripts
Ran the login script which setup all the menu's etc....I saved both the session and program settings.

When starting i connect to 127.0.0.1:23 (TWX) then the login appears then i get the above error msg.

Ive found the *_data.ini

_login.zrx=278

[settings]
[bust]
last=0

Thats all thats in there.
Same for 2 other game_data.ini files that i play.

It works!!!

I stopped using TWX to login and played about with it till i got Zoc to log me in!!

I think it should all be working now.

Once you get the zoc to login for the first time, it should work now with twx as well, I have to have Rev to confirm that, he had helped me when I had the same issue and now my twx works well on the connection using zoc.

make sure you are not using version 5 of zoc you need 4.12 or 4.15

Twx works fine now as do all the ZOC/Rexx scripts.
I am even *more* amazed with ZOC now everything works fine.

zoc 5 bad. zoc 4.14 good.

yeah if you just get the login script to log you in once, most of the variables get set automagically.

twx users are revhelper stepchildren because revhelper was pretty much designed for my own personal use before twx existed and when twx came out i never really adopted it. good luck with that.
