I'm pretty glad you don't get to make these decisions Speedy....The forum is under general Discussion...Locking it and moving it anywhere isn't needed..no one is Smacking and the Conversation is Civil...Insisting that this thread gets locked seems selfish...But im not a moderator in this forum..so if its THAT important to you and it offends you THAT much feel free to send the appropiate forum moderator a message about it..Then I'll have the same thread moved to Smack Talk so it will fit more appropiatly in your grand view of proper and improper forum posting[:)] :

Fair play doesn't work as an analogy. The object is to win the game, not to have "warm fuzzies" because you had a group hug with the other corp. In this game, someone is going to win, someone is going to lose. The loser will most likely whine about it and say it wasn't "fair" or some other nonsense. So what? The winner is going to display uncommon comptenece (Jester in the USO) while the loser is going to just up and quit (Parrot, anyone?). That's life. Scripts aren't going to change that.

Akor announced the backdoor to SD in one draft game because he hadn't set up his subspace channel.
I went there and laid mines, and Stocky ended up #SD# because of it.
Should I have done the chivalrous thing and given it a miss?
Of course not. People make mistakes and those mistakes should be taken advantage of.



Why do sports have governing bodies? Hell, why do they have rules at all?

Im completly on topic of Spoofing scripts..I did make several off topic remarks inside this post...Guess you just have to either Deal with my off topic remarks inside the posts That are relative..or you could call for a moderator or do us all a Favor and Stop trying to impose your views of General Discussion.There is a reason why this forum is a subcategory of The General Discussion Forum. I'm not really sure why you want to stop a helpful civil discussion...Last i looked no one was being overtly rude or disrespectful.. We dont need to lock Threads that provoke General Discussion.

People love to be goverened, usually badly, and they enjoy red tape. Governing bodies are there to pay people who couldn't get jobs in the real world. Look at how corrupt FIDE has become if you don't believe me.

The game has rules. There are no rules governing scripts. Unless you play at UTW...

And who are you to be making judgements?
Rules are to maintain predictability. When SDF was first introduced, you could make tons of cash without wasting turns on movement. That was changed. Was there whining about that? You tell me. In order to win a game you have to do what it takes. You have to make fewer mistakes than your opponents. If you can entice them to make mistakes, all the better. You've been playin WOW too long for me to take anything you say seriously. Anyway- what kind of wheat do you have to eat in order to increase your moral fibre? Bah.
