Does anyone have a scout script that will go to unexplored sectors in order instead of sectors at random?
I am getting lazy and I dont want to have to write it.
All help is appreciated.
Thanks

If you havea good ztm try ram's pathblaster. Just give it a txt file with an incremental sector listing. My sector list generator can make that for ya.

No ztm? JTwat does it but does not lay fighters as it goes.

So if 11, 12, and 14 are unexplored, you want it to go to 11, then from 11 to 12, then from 12 to 14? And so on? Do you have a good ZTM? Okay, I've got the 5 mins Slim. I'll leave the safety checks up to you guys, but here is the very short & sweet, turn-inefficient core routine:

getInput $mySector "*What is the current sector?"
setVar $a 1
while ($a <= SECTORS)
if (SECTOR.EXPLORED[$a] <> "YES")
getCourse $course $mySector $a
gosub :figCourse
setVar $mySector $a
end
add $a 1
end
halt

:figCourse
setVar $b 2
while ($b <= ($course+1))
setVar $current $course[$b]
if ($current < 11) or ($current = STARDOCK)
send "m " $current "* "
else
send "m " $current "* z a999* * f z 1* z cd * "
end
add $b 1
end
setArray $course 0
send "@ "
waitOn "Average Interval Lag:"
return

This will definately get you killed since it makes no density or holo checks whatsoever, so you'll want to add that.

Yours looks close EP.
It will make you loop and go out of control though heh.
I just want it for those games when you have it pretty well won and just want to explore the rest or looking for a stray planet.
For some reason JTwat never goes to them all.After a while it loops.
Thanks to all
