I'm very disappointed to hear that there won't be a Linux version. So where does that leave us enlightened Linux types?
SWATH: I've given up hope of ever seeing the UNIX version. Will not run under WINE because it uses unsupported VXDs.
ATTAC: Looked promising, but I guess we'll see how WINE handles it.
J-TWAT: Haven't tried the latest version, but the last one I tried was flaky and the source code almost gave me a seizure. (The code for the parser was apparently auto-generated from a grammar and never existed in human-readable form.) Looking forward to Son of J-TWAT.
TWX: Seems to work well under WINE, but learning the script language requires picking apart other people's scripts.
This is a big encouragement to continue developing my own helper.
