Cool - finally someone in the modern era of group communications - I use TS a lot for other games. Ever use Discord?

I was testing Discord out the other day, it seems really nice. Much cleaner, can do file uploads, and looks like it has several cellphone apps available. TS, seems a bit clustered to me, slightly complex to setup. And is seems that Skype is out, but for busters.

I just downloaded and installed Discord on my desktop. You can't setup a private server like you can with TeamsSpeak. You just install it, and then connect with friends. It is more like Skype than TeamSpeak.

Per the features it states it can setup multiple channels and you can issue members various roles and permissions, claiming this is something TS and Skype do not provide. As for inviting members, it provides a timed-to-expire URL, they just click it fill in their name and are added directly to that server/channel--as opposed to downloading and installing the program, typing in and saving bookmarks, passwords, searching for the channel. There seems to be two methods, inviting friends and adding friends to your friends list, also an instant feature with several settings. You can also block people as well; send PMs; setup private channels, etc. Also the UI is much pleasant, applying HTML5 standards.
