Maybe a possible fix
http://www.noip.com/blog/2014/06/30/ips ... -takedown/

So according to this link the no-ip address that I have has been shut down by micro soft, the link here says that you can get around this problem by using on of the dns services that has not been taken down so I'm going to give it a try.
In the mean time you can connect by using my IP address
67.7.226.78

Yeap, and by the time I realized what had happened, I had to leave for work.

I thought it was only the "free" IP's that got taken down, but seems there's also been some paid for IP's taken down.

So much for web freedom...

There is no such thing as web freedom.
The courts will side with the big companies instead of following the law.
Just look at the idiotic Aero decision the supreme court made

Wrong term, net neutrality is what some are working/hoping for.

Personally, I think MS is sucking up all the domains for it's "Cloud". I understand there's a "dark web"? Should I be afraid of the "dark side" or embrace the rebellion?

There used to be a whole alternate DNS system, but ignorant courts shut it down.

It depends on whether or not you want the Feds tracking you without a warrant. They labeled people who use TOR as extremists.

So you're saying that people who use TOR are hunted by the NSA? What's the point?

The more large companies mine data from private individuals to simply sell them more stuff, or track their viewing habits, the more inclined I become to use something like TOR.

My home page is www.startpage.com, I use ADP to block ads. My viewing experience is much more enjoyable because of these. On occasion I do happen to sit down at a computer without ADP, and even some without virus scanners and popup blockers and it's a nightmare!
