 Big Game 2013

FYI ping didn't matter in this one.. the Delay that is set does. FYI the delay you are talking about isn't a delay that is set by the sysop. This is an unconfigurable setting that v2 has. However, I have found ways to get around this problem. On another note, this isn't information that I'll be releasing fixes in public scripts or posting in public forums any time soon. However, TBH and I will be releasing a new public cashing script that will be part of M()M bot soon. It was written on v2 but should also be v1 compatible. Sorry if I got off topic a bit but I just wanted to point out that this isn't something that the sysop has control over.

 Re: Big Game 2013
The Sysop choose the emulation delay of 150ms.
Yes, this is there to help level the playing field. No matter how fast your ping is, no one can connect faster than the sysop configurable emulation delay.
This also helps to keep game data integrity, less corrupt game files, and was the major reason for this setting.

This also helps to keep game data integrity, less corrupt game files, and was the major reason for this setting. It doesn't matter what the sysop sets it at. 250ms is just as bad or worse. The problem doesn't lie in one delay, it's the comparison between delays. These delays aren't compatible like they were in v1. The ship movement delay isn't compatable with the planet movement OR attack waves. Therefor it goes from one extreme to another. Like I said, I've found ways around this problem but I won't be releasing this information. I would go into more detail, but then I might be giving away the the secret to my new offensive and gridding scripts.

That's the way ALL tournaments have been ran throughout the history of this game. The problem starts when a sysop can't or won't make a decision because they are too afraid of making someone mad. Sysops like The reverend, The Bounty Hunter, Vulcan, Eleq, River Rat, Stonewall, Thrawn, etc. were always able to get the job done and make the correct decisions. I'm sure many of you don't remember some of those names, but they are all Tradewars legends in my opinion. I may not have always agreed with some of the decisions that all of those sysops made, but I always accepted it and moved on. Anyone that wouldn't accept a decision made by The Bounty Hunter isn't much of a player in my opinion. It's always nice to have someone not playing bring their opinion to the table posting in the wrong forum about a game they weren't willing to come to from the start. It makes no difference what forum it's posted in. The result is still the same.

Which is more to the point of your lack of content here posting to or about thing your opinion has no baring. Now derailing your on thread on nonsense. (Left field here we come)

As far as my posting, it was game related and it is accurate. If you disagree with a sysops decision fine, if you argue the point then you aren't much of a Tradewars player in my opinion. I'm sure many others will share the same opinion. You may have some of these noobs that you've been beating up on fooled, but you really aren't very good at Tradewars anyway. Just one player from Ground Zero on the other corp and you can't do anything but turtle and cry for a stalemate? That's pretty pathetic actually.
