There are a few of us on here from the OKC area. The storms were all south of my house. I have not heard anything from Mirco, I think he lives in the Norman/Moore area and they took a beating today. Pray for the families in that area, 3 schools were leveled and total destruction of several neighborhoods.

I also thought of you guys just seeing the news. I'm glad you're alright. I know we have quite a few in Oklahoma.

Micro, Xanos, The Reverend, Gary Martin. Paul Benner is OK, he was logged onto my server tonight, he and his son are playing again.

If you're in the area and survived, please let us know. Our thoughts and prayers out to everyone who suffered in the Tornado.

Oh good! I just heard from Xanos, he is North of Moore, but did see a smaller tornado hit 2 miles from his house. He's OK as well.

Oh yeah Promethius is in Kansas as well.

The last time he posted here was Dec. 2012. Does anyone else have contact with him?

Good to hear Micro, glad you made it through ok.

Prom posted last evening, but I have not heard from him since. I know his family is located a couple miles from me in Choctaw, OK and they got hammered with hail lastnight. Some of it was the size of nerf footballs, he might be down in the OKC are helping them. -shrug-

No, this is the only property I own. I have a daughter in Texas. Thinking about moving there.

I'm sorry, it was Toyman who was looking in Ohio.

If you don't mind getting snowed in on occasion, very near me is "The Sleeping Bear Dunes" voted the most beautiful place in the US.

(We also have the best Ice Cream - Moomers!)

And we rarely if ever get any Tornados, once in a while a little twister that does not touch down.

Hill Country? If so, they have horrific thunderstorms, floods and tornados.

Glad everyone is all right. Moore seems to attract large tornadoes for some reason.

Micro, you might have to move. You got lucky on the first three, but the next one will not miss you :P

All kidding aside, I cannot imagine living in tornado country.

I live in the upper peninsula of Michigan, about a little over an hour north of Green Bay, WI. The worst severe weather I would get is heavy rain, the occasional hail and very strong winds enough to take off roof shingles and topple trees - usually straight line winds that is over in a few minutes. And even then, I don't get any severe weather often. I live next to Lake Michigan. As severe storms travel east and reach me, they dissipate as they reach the cooler lake air.

Snowstorms on the other hand, I get my share of those, but it is not like they wipe out a whole town like a tornado or hurricane would. I enjoy living here in the U.P. of Michigan.
