This is a perfect example of why I love this game.
Game's about 90 days old, on UTW, roughly 2weeks before the Server shuts down. I've been playing for a few weeks, trying to catch-up. Starting running Rammers UnFig'd Gridder to increase the grid a bit, and ran into a second, previously unknown, base of Corp 1. Rammers script not only pods me, but keeps on running until I get stuck on alien figs, and have to retreat, leaving me with no Fighters.
The cannon that podded me isn't that high, so I get into another ship and clear the Sector Fighters, and Pwarp in a planet. A little indecisive (don't have the resources to take the planet), I decided to set a trap. I overloaded the sector with 3 extra planets, and create a Level 2 Citadel on one of the planets, and place approximately 500k figs on it; fired up Citkill-Double-tap, and waited.
In all, I sat there, for about 5hours (hostile shielded planet in sector with a sector cannon, with enough fuel to cause me to self-torp and Pod if I relogged. I need this kill; to lock Cowboy out of the game, give me a chance to catch up after starting so late.
Incredibly, the trap works. I'm hiding on the Level 2 planet Cowboy comes online and enters the sector in an attempt to rescue his planet. I send off two waves of fighters before Cowboy clears the sector fighter, and he's in a pod before he has a chance to lay a fig.

I eventually realize that the Predators aliens happily fill up planets within a few hours, and with port production at %200, it's not long before I'm making over 500mil a day in a 5k turn game
