 Moving files/music etc
I just bought a laptop getting rid of my desktop. I currently have a large amount of files pictures etc etc etc that i'd like to move from my desktop to my laptop. I have wireless in my home and a wireless jack for my desktop is there any program out there that would upload my files into my netowrk and my laptop to down load kind of like a cloud I guess. Any direction would be much appreciated.

 Re: Moving files/music etc
OS?
1. File and Settings transfer wizard (Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools 2. Drag and drop, use the right-click and choose move (that way if it stops you dont have to copy stuff you already successfully copied) 3. Sync Toy 4. Sneaker net (usb external hdd, copy all files to this, move to laptop copy all files to laptop)
1 2 and 3 require a network share

 Re: Moving files/music etc
I use an external Harddrive for moving and archiving. I picked up a 2 Terrabyte drive few months ago for about $150 (they're getting cheaper all the time.)

The external hard drive is probably the best way to do it. I need to get one myself to transfer files off a non-networked computer.
