Ground Zero will play in future tournaments, however the following conditions must be met in order for us to have any interest. 1) Time/Date must meet our permacorps availability. 2) The exact TWA must be available at least 2 weeks in advance of start date. 3) The edit must be a stock style edit. (ICE, Pirates, revstock, etc...) 4) The edit must be soewhere between 800 to 3000 turns. 5) No more than 1000 sectors per player in the game. (Example 10 players = 10k Sectors) 6) An end date set and a system to determine a winner it that date is reached. 7) Must be held on a reputable v1 server, ran by a reputable sysop, and all rules clearly displayed in advance. If these conditions can't be met then don't bother contacting us. After all, we are the undefeated defending champions so the trophy is in our show case until we are defeated. You want a shot at the champions, meet our terms. |

Seems to me a true champion is up for any challenge any time, and still wins under any circumstances. I say we go forward with the game Helix proposed, April 1st and just divide the players who showed an interest in playing. |

any player that requires an edit beforehand lacks courage. |

Vader wrote: any player that requires an edit beforehand lacks courage. More lack trust. I dont' trust a lot of sysops from passing out information to specific players about the edit while others remain in the dark. Many of us veterans decided several years back that distributing the edit in advance was the only fair way to hold a tournament. Space Ghost and Singularity were a couple of the veterans that agree'd that's how it should be done. Who are you noobs to 2nd guess the veterans? |

Since some people have a hard time understanding anything above 1st grade level, I'll color this with crayons. Ground Zero will NOT be playing in Helix's tournament!!! |

This is open discussion about tourney styles, please dont threaten to post smack in retaliation for someone not agreeing with you. I am pretty sure the mods and admin would frown on such behavior. And it looks as if the only person posting smack is you. Remember your pledge... viewtopic.php?f=14&t=33765 |

As I said, in a year this game will be as dead as Helix in a turn game. |
