 Windows 7 vs Windows 8

Anyone used both? I can read reviews online all day, I'd like to know what you guys think and why.

Windows 8 is the "tiled" experience, anyone finding that hard to use unless you have a touch screen?

I haven't tried it yet. My son did, at first he thought it was pretty cool, but as per usual, it does not play well with older gadgets, like printers etc.

Here's a link that one of my instructors found that seems like a very good introduction to Win8.

Windows 8 is horrible for a work environment.
Going to skip this one like we skipped Vista.
Something to do with the even numbered releases...

Same here. If my current computer were to crash or something, I'll build a new one and install 7 myself than buy one with 8 installed.

I'll really date myself now:

W95 2nd release was WAY more stable than W98.

I miss win 3.11!

I didn't trust Win95, so I had a triple boot - DOS 6.2, Win 3.11, Win 95 :)
