I don't agree with the release date from that article. I'm pretty sure I was playing Trade Wars in the mid to late 80's.

It said it peaked in the 80s and 90s. Thats a 20 year window

I knew of it back in 1984 when it was first out, guy that worked at Radio Shack ran it on his TRS-80 computer. Go in wait a little while take your turns and leave until the next day.

There are people who still enjoy playing that way, only now they don't have to go to Radio Shack.
