How long does/Should it for a TWX database to update? example... (from cit & assuming $sector is the current sector) send "s" echo SECTOR.UPDATED[$sector] ---this will give me the last time the sector was updated.. but it is not "current" if I add a delay between the scan and the echo (say of 1 second) it then will give me a Current updated time/date of the sector. Ive never noticed this before.. Is my computer broken? |

You should put this in Helpers, I dont think EP reads OD and he would probably know best. H |

not sure if this will help, but you need to: send "d" waiton "Sector:" waiton "Warps to sector" waiton "Command [TL" then query the Database.. the waitons give twx the time to commit the info to the database If you look at most scripts that perform this type of Sector-scan, you'll notice similar Logic. Also. Make sure you have "Cache Database in avilable Memory" selected in the TWXProxy options (right-click Icon, setup, Program-tab), this should speed up the process. |

I am shooting from the hip but I think there are only 2 prompts that instantly update the sector info for TWX.... IIRC you either have to be at the Command or Computer Prompt... [xxxxxx] <-- x being the sector number if this is not showing in the line I don't think it updates it in TWX while at the citadel or planet prompts. In the citadel go to the computer prompt and back and verify if it updates. Examples below show me at Sector 1 Command [TL=00:00:00]:[1] (?=Help)? : <Computer> <Computer activated> Computer command [TL=00:00:00]:[1] (?=Help)? |
