Not many left, but a new bang might attract some. |

We play different style games, but if you want to do a turn game, get as many players together that you can and I'll bring a corp of the same size. I can probably get Trader Vic to bang a new edit on his (v1) server. Any preferences on the edit? |

Games dead, to few good (Non-Asshat) people left, those that stick around are run off by the trolls. Best of luck in finding a game, you might get lucky but I doubt it. |

I pretty much agree. The few players that are left are split between v1 and v2 and won't play but one or the other, so that makes finding competition even harder. I'd say the best competition is still in v1, and the only 2 servers that have competition are UTW and Trader Vics servers. With only 2 servers with any competition, that means new games are harder to find unless those two sysops are right on top of things. |

Sad. I dont really care which version it is. I do find v2 to cause some trouble now and then with a script.. but nothing i cant fix. UTW does have the most people online.. but I think a lot of those are the same people. Seems like no one wants any competition anymore. They would rather sit in a game with their corp, alone.. |

I have two very active games with 15 players in each. I'll be banging a new, original tournament mode game here shortly, and I will take the delays off. |

They aren't online very often and they aren't much competition. Also they are low turn, and time limit games with all kinds of delays on to prevent torping, pdropping, or any other form of offensive play. Not to mention th v2 sync delay itself prevents you from killing anyone ship to ship without an IG on your ship or if you get lucky enough for them sit still long enough for you to torp them. Also there are several bugs in the "time limit" feature, and you want to know about a few of them contact me in private. |

You won't see players logged in 24/7. You can take a look at my games via Micro's site if you'd like. Games D and G are the most active right now. |

So your games are like games from 1988.. 1200 baud modem style. Except.. there can be more than one person online at a time. Hmm.. well.. That wouldnt been much fun unless I can still map my 100 sector universe out on hex paper. Nothing personal, I just like a little more activity. |

No... they are 5k, they are fast and there is activity. I've sat online 24/7 with other players and no activity. Just because you're logged on does not mean you're at the keys, you know that. At least on my games, when you see a player logged on, you know someone is at the keys! |

I never play time limit games. Tried it once.. wont do it again. I like playing whenever I feel like it. Being online, whether I'm at keys or not, is a great deterrent. If I wanted to play without real competition I would fire up my 286 and dial into a bbs. |
