I am confused (probably not seeing what is right in front of me). What do I have to do to get my TWPID to work? I entered it in a game on EIS and got this message....

You do not have TW Passport access. Please contact an admin on the forum
to request access to TW Passport games.

I copied and pasted the TWPID directly from the front page here and even tried resetting it but it still didn't allow me in.

What am I doing wrong?

Ok, I think what I need is for an admin to grant me access to TW Passport games.

I just am not sure who to ask for that.

I have tried to follow the instructions that Vid Kid gave to me but I just don't get the message that I am trying to register to a game. I am looking on the index page and all I see is my TW Passport ID, a button to reset that ID and next to that, 4 pink lines of type...Total games: 0, Total Site Bans: 0, Reputation: 10, Status: Clear.

I have tried refreshing that page but nothing ever changes.

On the entry to the game, instead of choosing "T", I selected "P - Tradewars Passport Menu" and then selected "Z" to read about TW Passport. The last paragraph is what makes me think I need intervention from someone on this forum. Here is the exact capture.....

In order to participate in TW Passport games, you will need to have an active
forum account at http://www.classictw.com. You will not gain access to
TW Passport games immediately after creating an account on the forum. You will
need to request access from one of the forum admins.


I do not know how to contact the forum admins to request access.

Its still broken as far as I know.

Yeah, it's just in early testing right now. When I put it up, I added everyone to the TW Passport group, but anyone new to the forum since then won't be in the group. Any admin will be able to add a user to that group. But as Helix said, there are some bugs I still need to work out before it's even ready for a serious test on my beta site. Thanks for trying to test it out. I'll make an announcement when it's ready for further testing.
