In general there aren't many active servers today, and the only active v1.03 server is UTW. Many players would welcome new servers that choose to provide Tradewars v1.03 and bang games regularly. I would even offer to provide the edits and knowledge concerning the settings that would attract a decent player base. In the meantime, I'll be playing Tradewars at UTW even tho the player base there is somewhat noobish. BTW, If anyone has the gonads to try a 150 day old game that I started in on day 120, then come get some. Game N (D & D) 1500 turns, 10k sectors. 1 planet per sector limit and 4 second torps make invasions very easy. I wonder who "Doug" is? His corp had 137 million figs when I entered the game, now he's down to around 35 million and minus 10 or 12 planets. I'll give anyone who decides to play this game 20 days free reign to get started. BTW, I'm playing solo and the corp size limit is 2. Terra is full of colonists, but once anyone tries to invade one of my planets or enter one of my bases the 20 day truce is past tense. Happy space adventures. |

Is anyone else still playing, or is it just you and a bunch of people who decided the game was over? |

Hey D, I am running 103 but in testing phase right now as I am running on a virtual Machine. Hope to get feedback that speed is still stable but I know your edits. Hit me up and we'll chat. |

It wasn't abandoned because a player named "Despair" was playing and he was on the strongest corp. I took one of his bubble sectors and he cby'd. There are also a couple of other players active in the game, "Aesoo" and "r2d2". I'd like to see you go into a game that is 120 days old with 137 million figs and dominate it in less than 20 days. Most noobs can't even make it to the dock in a game that far along. I'm assuming you went into the game and decided that you weren't up for the challenge if you are aware that the game isn't locked down. |

Try starting in Game C - Subzero unlim thats 80 some days old with 2 active corps and then tell me how good you are. Welcome back by the way. H |

H Sorry I don't play unlimited turn games except to test scripts and help stress test servers. Turn games are much more challenging in my opinion. |

H Sorry I don't play unlimited turn games except to test scripts and help stress test servers. Turn games are much more challenging in my opinion. As you say. There's good (coming into an inactive game, playing 20 days to get a start before inviting others to try the same) and there's good (coming in to an active game where the best you can do is sit in fed and chat). Turns or Unlim the result is the same. But hey at least you are playing the game instead of talking about playing the game and thats what counts. H |
