I am running twgs 1.03 in a virtual environment. I don't know if anyone has messed around with this before but I am doing this so i can host both versions of twgs on a single machine. I would like to do a stress test to see how well it holds up or at what point it will crash.

I currently have 4 player running wsst / grid scripts in game e. I am running the players from the same computer that the twgs is running but I want to stop them once I get enough of other plaers on the script. Anyone and everyone who would like to join any of the games please feel free. DUPES ALLOWED for this. Please, dupe it up. Come on in to one of the game and fire up workdtrade, ztm, wssm, wsst, grid, whatever your guilty pleasure is there. I just need to see how the virtual machine handles the traffic.

Lol, well, right after I posted this my connection crashed. (Loged in remote) so either the computer crashed or I lost power. I get off in 45 min and will be able to check then. So hold off for a little bit. :)

Gotten a few people there running scripts. Would appreciate if a few more would just head over and even run a ztm, world trade, whatever. So far it looks as if speed is not affected and that is with me running 4 instances of twx all running wsst on the same virtual machine.

BH, its more about available memory than anything else. I have been running twgs v2.20b in an 8gig winxp vm for months without a problem.

Every now and again I get a little lag, but all seems stable, if a tad slow. Can you allocate a little more RAM to the VM?

I'm running Zoc/TWX in game A.

Yea, a lot of it probably has something to do with running twx from that virtual machine as well. Tonight when i re-boot the vm I will add another gig of ram and see if that helps. The nice thing about the virtual environment is that I can take a snapshot at anytime and it makes backups a cinch. :0
