Scolfax's Tradewars & TFC will be hosting the first annual BloodBath Free For All Tournament!

Game H:
30k Sectors
15 day entry
1 man corps
Interactive Subprompts On
No Truce
No Death Delay
No Who's Online
50 deaths max

Game opens this Saturday at Noon Central USA!

This is a free for all tournament. It's over when everyone except you is #SD# for the 50th time.

Rules:
1: No sharing, no duping, no flooding
2: No ship buyouts.
3: No planet buyouts
4: Ask any questions you may have before the Tournament begins!

It's you versus everyone else. May the best Trader win!!!!

These settings actually look pretty good for an unlimited turn game tournament. This should work out well as an outcome. Good Job.

Ships are Stock as well as planets.

max planets per sector is 4

Big D about the only thing I see on this edit I might change for the next time this tournament comes around... is the amount of colonists. Looks like current settings is 10 mil to start with 50 mil regen. Seems kinda high to me.

If there is a concensus among players interested to change this before game day this Saturday you can reply to this post. I'm interested in making this a truly awesome Deathmatch :)

I'm not going to make any changes at this point since I already posted the TWA unless I get at least 3 people asking to do so before the tournament begins. If nobody says 'hey thats too many' guess we're going with what we got already :)

Thanks guys this FFA has been on my mind awhile and I have put some time into thinking about it and what settings it should have.

I'm not butting in here I hope, but yes, there are a few factors in an unlimited turn game that pose a problem.

A few things that will cause a stalemate:
1) Too many colonists available.
2) Starting fuel ore on planets cost less than buying fuel ore from ports
3) Planets are too strong compared to ships.

how about 100k start colos and 15k regen/day to fix that...

and how about to tone down the planets a bit, change it to only 3 per sector? from 4 to 3?
