Most of you don't know that I've been off work for nearly a year now, due to chronic pain issues. I've spent the time writing, reading, and sleeping, because I can't go a hell of a lot else.

Some of JP's posts got me thinking - I'm stuck at home all of the time anyway, so why not mess around with Tradewars again? I haven't used Windows for 4 years now, but I checked, and I still have a Windows box that I never got around to formatting, and when plugged in, it works. So I'm going to set it up, and do some hacking when the pain isn't too bad. I may even drop into a game or two, but I won't play regular, the pain is bad enough that my concentration is shot to hell, and in TW you need to be able to concentrate.

Besides, I started a bunch of things, got busy, and never finished them. When I was looking for the files for JP, I found this really interesting source code...

And no, I wasn't responsible for Windows 7 - as I said I don't do Windows, except for this one which I am running only to mess with TWGS.

There's been a change in plan. I'm not happy with the Windows box, so I've moved things to my new Linux box, and I'm going to try getting things running under WINE. This should be fun.

I run Jace's Night Club on an OpenSuse 11.3 version of Linux under Wine. Works Great! No windows running my server!

Tomorrow I'm going to install it on my Fedora 15 64bit box and see what happens
