Also, is one of the new features shutting down a game entirely from 11pm to 8 am? I noticed that this morning. Kind of detouring for some players who play later at night or early during the morning.

That can't be helped, those are the rules for this particular host. This beta game is on a working server, and the owner needs the processing power for work during those hours.

So... beta server is to play to test, not play to play.

Very much so thank you! I was not aware of the beta being on a shared connection. Thought the computer was donated Sounds fine. I understand I wasn't planning on playing i was just going to wack out somethings i've been working on in the subzero game. No big issue i'll just test them out on you j/k

It is a donated machine on a fast server, but the server is used for some major work between those hours. You could still play on the server, but it's like 400 ms ping time, so I figured just close it down. It's a good test of the access limiting modes anyway. We already found a bug that allowed people to defeat the limit and get into a closed game.

It's not optimal, but it's a very fast machine on a fast connection, and it's free for as long as I need it. I'm very pleased with it in general.
