I wouldn't want to change a long standing rule. It was just an anoyance that I couldn't use Twarp to get my corpie past the fedspace blockade.

Completely understand what you mean. You could twarp a ship to fedspace?

I think you are allowed to do that, but I decided to tow a ship within transporter range instead. Then my teamate would have been outside the blockade, but I got photoned on the way and ended up behind the blockade with him :(

True, there have been a lot of bugs over the years related to towing people. Probably still are as far as I know.

This isn't a bug, but it is an annoyance when fedspace has been blockaded. Plus the lack of a density scanner, you can't even see the blockade.

It would be easier to just assume that if your in a Tournament and/or a agressive game that there will be a blockade. Most likely also space debris in sectors leading out of 1.

Yeah, that's a good asumption. Probably a good idea to drop some ships around in transporter range too, so you can get out.

Having a Fedsafe Blue is your best defense against a blockade.

How does that help?

Fed beacon for the blue with a commish. Tow a ship in that has twarp and fuel and have the corpie xport to the new ship and warp out. If you don't have a commish or are red, then things become a bit more complex.

In this case you have the opton of placing a ship within 10 hops of Terra, that was the start ship transport range in HHT.

Yeah, that is what I was trying to do when I got Photoned :(
