I took a lightning hit last night, and lost the cable modem and firewall. The server is fine, and Cox should be out later today. I also lost my phones, a/c, alarm system, and x-box :(

Not surprised, I was riding home at 11pm and it was cracking. Little uncomfortable while on a bike. :-)

Figured something was up, went there this morning and it was gone, after just discovering it was there in the first place! Story of my life, but glad you'll be back, and hope your insurance treats you well.

Wow, crazy. Even if you have your hardware on surge protectors, it's hard to keep track of everything, and one unprotected connection can expose everything.

Have Kewl and the gang accused me yet of destroying your hardware with my buggy software? ;)

I don't think they're paying attention at the moment. I think they're busy occupying Wall Street.

My son was in the room right next to the power meter. He says all he saw was a really bright light.
