It's taken some time, and I have to admit I was burnt out for a bit, but RP's TWGS and forums are back.

The server had games running when it died, and when I brought the game up players were well over 30 days old, so Extern cleared the slate. The games are well aged, like about a year, so I left them run as is for now thinking these aged games may be fun to conquer. It's still running the unimproved version we all know and love, and for now I'll leave it at that until I take time to download and review the new version I hear is available for download. I don't even have that link yet lol.

I'm interested in updating both the content, and the look of my website. If there's anybody out here that likes to dabble let me know. I can seriously use the help. Also if you know some of the links are no longer valid, or there are new servers out there not listed (I'm sure there are many now) please let me know so I can update my site.

I'm also throwing out the idea of another tournament. Last I ran was BOTE 2010. I can host 2011 if there's any interest in continuing the game, or we can come up with another tournament. I'm glad I had a chance to make my peace with Space Ghost before the last BOTE, and have mixed emotions about continuing the game, or let it rest. Either way I have to say he was very intrumental in my hosting that game, and becoming a tournament host at all.

Put your thoughts out there my friends. I want to get my site up and running smooth again, and contribute to the fun once again.

When you do get around to trying the new version, if you have any features you'd like added while I'm still working on it, post in the new feature requests forum. Lots I'd still like to do before calling this one "done".

I have stayed involved in the suggestions via this forum or Facebook JP, and really appreciate your current work. I'd hink that anything I can suggest I already have, and if you've seen it viable you've incorporated it.

If you'd be so kind to point me in the right direction to download your latest I'll check it out soon now that I've finally got my website issue figured out.

I'm playing your game H and finding that ZTM takes forever. Do you have a course plot delay configured? Seems to be about 500msec/plot.

I don't run any delays unless it's an accident. It could also be since the games are old it's overwhelming the computer again. I'll look into it though.

I assume the games are still running on v1.03. There are no options for pacing the game there like there are in v2. It just runs at one speed, and it's highly dependent on CPU.

You are correct it's still v1.03 and even though I don't often have issues with speed in the games, today working on the website and all has been keeping that cpu busy so it's likely the cause. Also I think these games have been on ice for over a year, and maybe the games are trying to catch up to the age? I don't know how that all works.

Something maybe up Proton... I've tried to enter a few games. they won't load and it kicks me back out to the menu..

I can't think of any reason it wouldn't work. I load up old TWAs all the time for testing. But you could export, then rebang and see if that clears anything up.

For some reason the TWGS itself got corrupted. Likely as I was trying to clone the drive for backup. Something wasn't working right and the backup didn't get made, but apparently it affected the TWGS software. I reinstalled (repaired) the software, and it came to life. I hope that was the only problem. Thanks Comet for brining it to my attention, and sorry it took so long to repair. Daughter is home with a chest cold today and it's been hard to pay attention to the computer issues. (6 year old's can be so demanding!)

Guess I simply need to rebang these games. I'll try to get that done tommorrow.
