I thought I'd take the time to say hi and introduce myself, I used to play Tradewars on a screaming 2800 baud connection back in the 90's. I started a server about 5 months ago but my server was shut down when someone broke into my house and stole all my computers. -Lawdog. |

I see you're in Michigan, where about? I'm in Traverse City. I just put up my serve the first of this month. Lot's to learn.

I live in Waterford Michigan, right outside of Pontiac. A bit of a stretch from Traverse City but I know where abouts your at. I too am working on my first game edit. I'm a big fan of the show/movie Serenity/Firefly. I'm working on a Serenity game edit with The Reavers as Ferrangi, Blue Sun as the complete opposite of Ferrangi, (home planet but positive alignment and doesn't ignore fed space.) Browncoats as negative alien traders/human players, and lastly Bounty Hunters as positive aliens/players. As soon as I piece together another server I'm going to make it live and see if it hooks any fans. =) |

One of my first edits has 3 races star trek/TW theme. Ferrengi, Romulins and Kal Duraks. Play around with the settings that allow the aliens to attack one another, run in packs and general aggression. Sometimes they can be a little over whelming when you have so many of them running around. I grew-up down-river, in Dearborn Heights so I know where Pontiac is, Waterford sounds familiar but I've been upnorth since 1980. I still have a lot of family in the Detroit and surrounding area. And I can still drive like a native on the express ways! LOL |
