Why would you want to limit log viewing? Okay. You have $100 up for grabs.. I think you'll have a much better game with Soloists (or 2man teams at most), just my opinion. My suggestion was based on a SOLO setup. so, instead of planets with 7.5mil ORE/FIGS, bring it down to 3.25mil. Note: I could of sworn I typed: Halve, and not Have.. But. Knowing my typing skills, anythings possible. No free product. means popped planets do not come with and ORE/ORG/EQUIP. In the case of SUBZERO this transialtes to: no ORE WHORing. Log Viewing. If you know how to read a log, you would be surprised at how much data you can extrapolate. In other words: minimize Data-mining. The inspiration for my 'setup' was to prevent a perpetual game in which a clear winner would be difficult to determine. In any event. It's a start. I believe that creating large corps and such are going to limit who can actually play. MY guess is you'll only have Boo inc and Krakken-ur-butt.. who will be able to sign up --which alienates Loners like me |

You typed Halve, I thought it was a typo. Good point about the corps with the current lack of players. I think I would still like to have Treo's though. Think you can find two other players to join your corp? Well, I don't want this to be over in a weekend, but I would like to have a clear winner no later than Thanksgiving, or maybe it needs to be shorter, say two weeks? I'm a newb at this, so I appreciate your input, and anyone else too... |

MicroBlaster wrote: Some of Ender's favorites. It's hard for me to decide when I really don't know much about these edits. Considering This is your first tournament your putting up I would lean towards pirates since I think anyone that would be playing probably knows the edit. Or what edit do you know? MicroBlaster wrote: I'm leaning toward 2 man corps, due to the current lack of players. Dunno that there is really a lack of players, they are all just in hiding. 2’s fine. MicroBlaster wrote: as little as posiable, but I want it to be an "honerable" challenge. Think we say that before every tournament, But you might look back at some of the rules that have been used from prior tournaments if the post are still around. MicroBlaster wrote: Last team standing is the simplest method, unless anyone objects. I always liked it when SG set up a last man standing style, but just as a back up there was some sort of point system in place that would discourage things like turtuling up to cause stalemates. |
