Lately, when I press "submit" on this forum, Nothing happens. Even if I wait several minutes. Then I press submit a second time and the message is immeidatly posted.

Is anyone else having this problem?

I see that from time to time. What I've noticed is that is usually because someone else is posting to the same thread at the same time and this forum stops and give me opportuntiy to read the new post and allows me to revise mine if necessary before I can submit again.

Yeah, that's a nice feature in a hot thread. That's not what's happening to me though. The screen never refreshes.

It didn't happen on these last two posts, but on the one before that, and it just happens randomly.

i've seen this problem a few times too.. hit the submit... nothing.... sometimes takes a few presses... no idea what the prob is tho..

Could be a bug with the forum. There's a new version available. I'll update soon.

It could also be a time limit issue as well, phpbb has had some issues with the time limit at times on different releases. Also could be a database issue with database bloat, I have ran across both at times as well.

But I think it may be a time limit issue. It depends on how fast you are posting or how the forum program is processing them, technically it should let anyone post even if there are more than one person posting in a forum at the same time on the same one, that is where the timing issue comes in.

There use to be a setting to set to correct this issue, only available to the master admin account. That may be worth looking at to see if there is a setting to correct the issue before getting a newer version, because sometimes the newer versions can be more buggy then the current one.

Its very inconsistant, I agree with Vulcan. Few minutes ago I pressed submit, nothing happened...pressed it again and gave me the new posting message. Only issue was it was the message I was trying to submit which probably comes back to timing issue...

this happens to me once in a while.. what I do is Press "Preview", which usually gets executed right away, followed by "Submit", and presto.. the post is made ...or in my case the 'Edit'. heh
