The Gold alien bug was causing aliens to avoid attacking players who would qualify as FedSafe, even if they're not in FedSpace. The game data enhancements include all public game variables represented in the * startup menu data feed, as well as a new TWGS main menu $ data feed that provides an xml format feed with data from all active games on the server. If you maintain a game list or helper or scripts, you might benefit from this feature. I also added some failsafes to make the server more robust under stressful conditions. Bug-wise, things are settling down. I still want to figure out what's happening with ping times, and there are a few isolated servers having issues. But overall, it's very stable. |
