For some reason i keep going back to the same game unlimited turns and a 3 day truce.... this is the second rebang in a week.. but both time my ship has been capped on day 1....seriously... the menu says 3 day truce... i believe that means leave everyone alone for 3 days.... is that too tough to understand... i know its not tradehugs...yada yada... i've heard it ...but theres a truce !!!

game description as per the hosts website. i appologize for sd'ing you early and cby'd myself so you could have piece of mind. however 3day truce with the login screen showing it banged on june10-11 and the website showing it banged on june 8 10 3days is came and gone...

Not to criticize the sysop...but he isnt always upto day...The usual way of telling the age of a game... even a noob can figure this out...hit "V"... it says DAY 1...

i believe ur exact words in game to me was did u see the 3day truce on login screen? so with that said. No i didnt. however u also didnt read the bang date next to the info you pointed me to.

and if you were old school V isnt always accurate. sysops used to set game date to 30 or 100 to strenghten the aliens and since this is not a current twgs server V isnt always accurate way to find age of game. however if i had looked at V less days is obvious but as i already said i screwed up. i also apologized. nothing left i can do. but wish u the best.

I have to say, I made the same mistake against the same player on the last game. The reason being, the sysop did not specify the truce when addying the game here. I loaded the game directly from here, and the log in screen scrolled by too fast to read.

For this, and the lag, I wont be playing that server again. But my point is, most sysops advertise that, at least, there are special rules and to check it out before playing game. (He can also easily post marker beacons at SD and Terra like most sysops do in truce games.)

I feel the blame here lies squarely on the shoulder of the sysop, not the players.

If you can come up with a simple way to enforce 3day truce, John might be able to add an option for the next version

Peeps learning how to play the game in an honorable fashion, rather than trying to find every gray area to exploit would be a good start...laff
