Hi, I'm new to this forum. I ran a BBS many,many years ago and had fun hosting this game. I guess I must not be the first to ask this, but a quick search didn't reveal a previous post. Has there been any thought of porting TW to the Android smart phone platform? This game is ideally suited for such a platform and I believe it would be a tremendous success. Peace. |

It's definitely something being considered, but just looking for the right circumstances. If you're talking about the classic game, a helper that runs on a mobile phone would be nice. Maybe one of the current TW helper authors could do something like that. If it's something I do, it would have to be an updated game with graphics, etc, to justify doing it. |

A telnet client would be easy to port. But not much point, it's wireless and connectivity is bad. A smarter approach is to use an RDC client to RDC into a box running your client. Then if you drop because of bad signal, your back end still stays up. |
