My IP, which was x.x.x.x is in fact blocked on swath.net's router. I switched to another failover line with a x.x.x.x It now works.

This waiting to be approved before my messages are posted is annoying me immensely, as well as the ignored messages to Thrawn -- who just deletes my PMes -- about deleting duplicate message I posted because I didn't realize at first it needed to be "APPROVED" first (rolls eyes). I requested to be a member here several times, but my requests keep getting denied. I guess you don't want me here.

There's been a lot of spam lately, so messages are piling up
a bit faster than normal. The approval thing is short-term,
it goes away once you've gotten the requisite number of
posts. That's just our way of preventing this forum from
having hundreds of junk posts daily.

Yeah, I have a real life outside TradeWars that has kept me busy. We've had two funerals to attend this week, and I apologize for not getting to your messages sooner.

First, I can't delete your duplicate messages you make unless they are in the sections I am a moderator in. Your PM's were not deleted- I just had no window to reply due to my real life responsibilities at the moment. As far as the new member system here, none of the moderators have that control. I would assume the system either makes you a regular member after X number of posts, or the Admin do that themselves (and I see the Admin have offered an explanation above my post).

To combat the spam problem, the system requires 5
posts to be approved before you're promoted to a
regular user. Everyone goes through this, so it's not
personal.
