I apologize, there is a hardware problem with the server. I am planning on buying new motherboard/processor/ram this weekend. This was a machine that is on older DRAM and has been having some flakiness lately. I tried different RAM chips and still there are intermittent issues. I had a power fluctuation that seemed to start the whole problem so I think I need to bite the bullet and upgrade. The hard drive is fine and all games should be restored once I upgrade the machine. I plan to have it done this weekend. Sorry for the inconvenience! |

Rogue Galaxy is back online as of yesterday and the server is better than ever. Upgrades: Now Intel Dual Core e5300 processor Now 2gb of 800mhz DDR2 RAM Now a true SATA 3 (was limiting my hard drives to 1.5 before) capable motherboard New video card because the old ATI was causing occasional driver issues and 0x0000007b windows messages The new motherboard has a 1333mhz front side bus among other better features from the previous motherboard Using a trick (Windows sysprep) a friend recommended, I was able to do an in place upgrade without re-installing XP. |
