Post subject:  Fusion v1.0 Edit

After watching the game in action a little more, I think a few things needed changed to give blues a better chance. The changes include two new ships, a Fed trader and a ptorp ship and some changes in the defensive odds on the red trader. I will be making another version of the edit for a 1500 turn or so game. Any suggestions or comments on the edit are welcome. If they are smack comments, put them in the smack area and I will read them there.

The script below will harden dock and improve the alien homeworld defenses. It is designed specifically for this edit, but you could modify it for others. The main area will be the ship that is chosen to destroy dock with, and the fighters/shields to use. It will only setup one alien homeworld. Run only on a closed game as it deletes the first user record!

I was looking at the edits and I think the planets are a bit weak. Maybe have some of the ones that produce less fighters hold a few more colonists. Just a suggestion a lot depends on what ships you add.

I am looking forward to the 1500 turn release. As soon as you make it public I will put it up. The 500 turn version I put together is interesting but unbalanced.

The blue warship not having a twarp drive definitely leans the edit to Red.

That is something I didn't intend. I missed setting twarp to yes for the ship. Kind of bad not to have twarp. My mistake.

Thrawn, yes. I would replace it with this one. I fixed the twarp and am uploading it as a replacement. It will be the same file name in the message above.

I dont know if you want this type of input. I killed dock in a red warship with 3 waves of 25k figs.

Actually that is good to know. I know the alien planet needed editing after a bang so I've written a script to go with the edit to harden dock and the alien homeworld. I will add the script here and in the game edit notce if anyone wants to run it.

The script below is designed specifically for the Fusion edit, using it on another edit will probably cause you grief. Only run it on a closed game after banging it since it will delete the first user record when it completes.
