We soak the optical fibres in whiskey to improve the transmission. They do the same in the UK, but I understand the operators there don't soak themselves as well, which is why Njoy's is better than mine.

A question - does everyone experience the same latency at the server end, which would make comparison of DOS pings meaningful?

I'm getting pings in the 70ms range consistently.

This is the best I've had on any server, and I'm from LA, far from most servers.

Played a bit, ran smooth. What TWA is that by the way? I would not mind implementing it on my server. Looks fun.

Also, having gotten pretty darned adept at ANSI editors, I would like to volunteer to do a flashy-looking intro screen for the server once the final details of the touney have been decided. I can even deliver the rules right from the intro screen. Let me know!
