I'm organizing a Kill Fest Tournament and looking at the 1st or 2nd weekend of June for the start date. This tournament will be a bit different than some of the Kill Fests in the past, being that it will be elimination style. There will be 3 games running on Friday of that weekend, at the same time, wiith a designated amount of players (say 5 for example) in each game. These games will be single elimination w/ 1 death limit, and the 3 winners of these 3 games will compete in a 4th game on the Saturday of this weekend to determine the final winner. No game will last more than 24 hours, or a judge (more than likely the sysop that hosts it) will decide who the winner is. Each player will start with a loaded ship, a loaded level 6 planet, and enough cash to get started just as in previous kill fests and each player will be put in a random sector by the game op. You may sign up for this tournament in this thread, but please keep it a definite Yes or No. No maybe's or talk to me later responses. This will make it much eaiser to keep track of who is playing and who isn't. I'll keep a running list of players that are absolutely playing in another thread later on. |
