Ill be seeing it tonight with a buddy. This trailer sealed the deal, it's not your fathers Star Trek.. And prolly next week in Imax with the fiancee if it's everything I think its gonna be. *If I wanted to see young attractive people do cool and exciting things I'd go watch sports* LoL |

Seeing it tonight at midnight too! I love having friends who are bigger geeks than me. One of them hooked me up with extra tickets. I'm sure the cannon changes will drive me insane, but I'm still probably gonna love it. |

I'll see it in two weeks when the theatre will be at most half-full, and I can stretch out and get totally immersed w/o distractions  This is some 'real' sci-fri right here... |

Saw it last night on the IMAX. Thoroughly enjoyed it. It manages to pay tribute to the original series, and yet be a completely new franchise. You need not be a trekkie to enjoy the movie, but if you grew up watching the occassional episode like I did, you'll get most of the nods to the original series. |
