I received this in my Email and wanted to pass it on. I Don't know if it's real or not but better safe than sorry.

destroys the Zero Sector of the Hard Disc, where all your vital information is kept.

Ive had friends and family send me e-mails with the beginning starting with this and after some research it 9 out of 10 turns out to be spam. But I would hope all of us are computer savy enough to not open e-mails with links unless you know what ur getting in to. OR you like to experiment with new viruses:)

Thanks for the look out Sage

ROFL. I got one of these, it had a .zip file w/ it. Obviously I didn't open the zip file... laff.

The "urban legends" site is wrong. There is at least a zip worm going around with "HALLMARK" in the subject. Not that it matters... is there anyone stupid enough to run random files these days?

I never get anything that interesting. Just ads to improve my manhood and viagra ads. Also the phishing ones for banks i don't use.
A friend came round to my house once and said did you open the email i sent ya? It's really funny. So because he was stood there i opened the attachment. Wasn't that funny. Give me the cih virus, i think, was a bad one anyway. when my pc crashed he said, "thats exactly whats happened to mine. Thats why i came round." Hmmm.
now i never open anything.

Off topic but generally carries most legit malware warnings/virus warnings. That email sage got looks more like spam/chain letter than legit warning imo. If it was a virus its more likely part of the Storm Botnet (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Storm_botnet) as they have used a hallmark spam mail before.

http://www.dslreports.com/forum/r196483 ... STORM-worm

Storm is much worse than a "Zero Sector" virus. Simply because a Zero Sector virus would just destroy your harddrive and while virus's like that still exist. Most modern day Malware/Virii/Spamware writers have other agenda's than destroying a computer for giggles.
