So, I was pokin' around on the net today and stumbled upon Tradewars Rising. I haven't really read up too much on the site because I wanted to know what people here thought of it before I bothered . . . so there ya go I'm not sure I'd be down for a web-based interface . . . Bruce |

Bruce I haven't played it, but have seen some of the actions of at least one person involved with developing it, and that is enough for me to stay away. |

I am reserving my judgement until it is "finished." I give props to their coder who is doing it all by himself (that is a ton of work!). He does have a lot of Beta testers helping him out. I was in that pool for a while, but RL got in the way and I bowed out. I will say this, in it's present form I would say it is merely a game "inspired by" tradewars. A lot of the elements are there, but the feel of TW is NOT there yet. |
