Bots can harvest email addresses out of these forums quick. You can enclose your address with ** on each side, or write out dot instead of the . in the address. This stops the forum from making it a link, and the bot won't recognize it (I think) But this is also why I originally asked for people to "Email" me this information LOL |

Rofl. It's easier than that ya know. Just do a preg replace on [at], at, dot, [dot] and variants with spaces and do a pre-pass on the text... converting it to normal parse-able text. That way you can define these as external rules in a file and not have to recompile everytime someone wants to add a new variation. |

I didn't know the bots were that advanced, but glad to know it. Thats why also on my web page you see a grapic with my information in it, rather than just my email address and icq. This was per Revs suggestion when I first designed my website and I felt it good advice. Thanks for the input Rev. This is also why I put in the original message,.. email me your info, rather than post here. LOL |
