I've had a couple of people ICQ me about why I've been acting like a jerk in the forums here.

The simple answer is that it isn't me. KAUS uses "MadHatter" as his ICQ handle.

I use "The Mad Hatter" both as forum ID and ICQ handle.

So there's two of us with slightly different ICQ handles.

As I have stated on ICQ, I have never once claimed to be you. The associated missrepresentation is from my signature and icq name. I play by the names of Kaus or SevenOfNine. I've even appended my signature to help clarify any assumption's, as I was unaware till tonight it has caused you any issues.

As to "being a jerk", people disagree and sometimes get labeled for having a opposing point of view. Outside of maybe Bud noone on these forums has played or spoke with me enough to call me what you stated in ICQ. Though I do find calling SG a drama queen label's me as a ***hole disconcerting.

I am aware that you didn't claim to be me. But confusion did occur, and I wanted to make sure that everyone knew that there were two people using similar names.



I've had messages from several people on ICQ about your posts. I haven't read them. Hell I haven't been in these forums for at least six months, been too busy. As to whether or not they know you well enough to judge, again I don't know. And really it doesn't matter.

I just wanted you to reply to my post here so that everyone would know we are two different people.

As to annoying people - hehe - I do that too. Ask some of the older players about some of what I've done in games in the past. I'd say about 1/2 the community would blow me up the second they saw me because of something I've done in the past (which is why I NEVER play as "The Mad Hatter").

I believe I played with you, though I don't think you used the name Mad Hatter that time. For the life of me I cant remember what you used. In fact I think I also met you in person once through a mutual friend who went by the name of brenna. The game I am referring to was many, many years ago at a BBS in LA called the Annex and it was probably the last real game they had there. It was moderated by Raven and we played with Elnenio aka EvilDog and hmm who else... I played as Butch Roland. anyway If thats who you are just wanted to say hi. That was one of the more enjoyable games I have ever played in.
