I and several others I've spoken to are all having troubles with TWX creating issues on the computers and loading down the cpu after long game sessions.
If I'm doing something like World Trade, or SST, or gridding, and it goes on for a long time, say 12 hours + I'm noticing the cpu is loaded down and nothing else will function on the computer. This happens on both my laptop and desktop.
If I'm just monitoring a game, and not moving around, I do not develop this load on the cpu.
Any ideas what's causing this?

I have noticed a similiar problem, but for me when I look it is Swath not twx that is burning up the CPU. When I surpress text output, it resolves the problem. My guess, and it is only that, is that the buffer for swath is just eventually getting overloaded, causing the high cpu rate...

Memory leak? I don't have the problem locally.

Yeah me, Zoc/TWX.. It's definately my TWX and I've found out even shutting it down and restarting doesn't resolve the issue but for an hr or so, CPU usage climbs fast. Ends up taking a complete system reboot.
One of the reasons why I kept disappearing in that game, Zark..

Its happend to me a few times also, running Zoc/TWX. Its been awhile but i belive i had to reboot everything too. Seems ICQ has this problem every now and again, if you dont shut down after so long.

It is memory leaks, sometimes you have to find the log files and trim them as well. in case of icq, no help there. but memory leaks there as well.
also might want to think of turning off either the zoc logs or the twx logs. prolly the zoc ones though. and see if it helps.
Just a thought.
