I was wondering, if some don't like the smack talk forum, why would they read it? I would think that if someone finds something they don't care for, they simply wouldn't go there. Those that have a use for it continue.

Strange how we want to remove something that we simply find objectionable instead of using our perogative to ignore/stay away from it. Reminds me of some of the "highly moral" people wanting to ban anything that could remotely be considered PG.

It's one of my "hot" buttons...An advertisement in the Advertisement area would be more acceptable but please dont go to overboard there either.

I'm just asking that it stays in the Advertisment Fourm and that it doesnt become excessive.
 

umm ill have to ask zentock im not up to speed yet on the admin portal. As an alternative you can state your vote here or to any of the Mods and they can pass it along and it can be rectified in the end.

So... we can't give people suggestions on to how to solve their problem if you don't like it?

I thought this whole new EIS was about the Community? If it is about the community then what is the big deal about posting another forum that just opened up so to let people have the opportunity to visit several forums dealing with Trade Wars. There shouldnt be a monopoly on just one forum. Several times I have seen EIS advertised in other forums. Why can't we all get along? And lets let the COMMUNITY decide on what WE want and not just one or two individuals.

Wont be a problem to have any and all advertisements in the apprpropiate place on this Forum.

Well I agree that if people don't want the smack, they don't have to read it.  I think there's a strong possibility that if you remove the smack thread, you're not going to remove the smack, and then when the mods try to do their job, their going to get flamed for it.
 
 

Well there's something to said for both. Smack has leaked out to other forums a bit, and it's definately what most people post about... so it chases some people away. But it's definately not going to be eliminated by just cutting out the smack forum. Trash talk is as old as the game itself, it's nothing new.
