Oke guys, so there is a lot of work to be done and since I'm sure you have a good idea of what need some upgrades and updates i've made a topic just for it. I'll take every idea from here and study them.

It goes from pm warning to a full change of the forum so they make it faster.

The goal is to make the site 100% compatible with IE6, IE7, FF1.55+, FF2.0+
That is my basic standar for all my sites. As for the skin for the moment it won't be change but I might surprise you a bit by working with a few people to get a new one. Doesn't need to be very different too.

What is with the obsesion of changing this site?  We've had our differences here, but you dont' just come in, and say we're making changes here.  If you notice your rank, it says Newbie, not Mod, not Admin, but Newbie.
Get off the soapbox, set back, watch, and listen.

The current database is in exchange and vulcan and earth want to change it to mysql, and I'm going to help them on that. That is the first cahnge and it's not mine.

Once that's done since the current template is an asp portal we might need to change it to a one compatible with mysql if it is not.

At first I'll be helping vulcan and earth and everything will have to go with them first. I won't take any decision.

Vadis, I'd recommend let sleeping dogs lie.
There was enough grumbling when they changed the site layout last time.
I'd recommend getting TWT up and running before recommending any changes here.

Well I'm just passing what vulcan said to me. If you want I won't help him that that will slow the process and that's about it.

Ya know what bothers me, is it's like Vulcan and Earth have YOU representing them and they won't or can't step up and say that?? I don't get it.

Ya know if you all are gonna mess with this site let someone here that cares about the community mirror all the critical information that is here within this site that the USERS have contributed here. The information within this site is unreplacable if lost.

OK, my feathers are very ruffled here,  and ANYBODY that is on this site knows I don't usually participate in this kind of chatter, but common, we just ironed all this out, now you're trying a different angle.  Leave your mitts off the site!  If we want it fixed, we will ask for changes. If you want our list then ask, but dont come in with a megaphone, speaking of major changes after we just defeated the last attempt.  We have people all ready here that can make the changes we asked for.  We do NOT need a newcomer with no clue what this community needs or wants, making changes because he thinks he might be handed a key to the site.  I urge the powers that be, do not grant this guy access.

Well that is the first step we are gonna do. Save everything and make the access to the saved file public.

Now I can't do anything about the fact that vulcan or earth are busy. I'm here all day. What more can I say on that.
